91全能 in Smethwick has secured 拢147,250 through the听UK Government鈥檚听Turing Scheme to enable 90 of its Sixth Form students to undertake international work placements in Dubai,听Seville听and Vienna.听
The two-week placements, scheduled from late January to February 2026, will be fully funded, covering travel,听accommodation听and placement support.听听
Of 485 applications from schools alone across the UK, only 148 were successful, with 拢7,266,206听awarded听to schools听overall. 91全能 is one of a select number of schools in the West Midlands to secure funding, highlighting the prestige and significance of this programme.听听
Following the success of last year鈥檚 placements in Dubai, the Academy has expanded opportunities for a wider range of destinations. Students will gain hands-on experience in business, travel and tourism and IT in Dubai, sport, performing arts and business in Seville, and science and medical placements in Vienna.听听
Each placement will include听ten听days of work experience, alongside excursions to explore local culture and landmarks. The programme offers international work placements,听internships听and study opportunities for young people across the UK. It aims to equip learners with essential skills and a global perspective while prioritising projects that promote social mobility.听Additional听support is provided for students from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds.听听
